Sermon 1
Below is a quick Psalm I have prepared to relax our batsmen before the game on saturday.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of Sirhowey ,
I will fear no sharp bouncers: For thou art slow to me;
Thy bat and thy pads, they comfort me.
Thou preparest slow half trackers before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with a Fugies Cap and my bat runneth over with tons
Sermon 2
Guys,
This weeks sermon should be very inspirational for the second teamers who walk too easily and need to umpire there own matches.
Gavsationalised from Joshua 1:8
Finally, be strong with the bat and its mighty power. Put on the full armor offered so that you can take your stand at the crease.For our struggle is not against bat and ball, but against the challengers, against the other teams umpires, against the powers of this dark world who will not walk when caught behind.
Therefore put on the pads, so that when the day of evil comes when the other team shouts howzat, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything not to look out, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist that they don’t walk, with the breastplate of righteousness in place that it was bat before pad, and with your feet fitted with the readiness for the next ball.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of umpiring for your team, with which you can extinguish all the hopes of the evil ones saying howzat.Take the helmet of salvation for your team and the pointed finger of the Spirit, which for this over you are God.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying it not plum.

Sermon 3 - June 8th 2011
Guys,
Everyone needs a little extra help this week at it’s a long trek into Pagan territory for the firsts and some of the things they get up to with their sisters doesn’t bear thinking about. The seconds also need much inspiration after last weeks defeat.
The following passage gavsationalised from Psalm 16:5-8 should be an inspiration to you all. Please feel free to print this out and keep it in your back pocket for that extra feeling of well being during the match.
"SKIPS, you have assigned me my position in the team; as I have made my batting secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful late cut.
I will praise the team, who counsels me; even at night when I’m drunk after the match.
I set the bat always before me.
Because it is at my right hand, and will not be shaken."
All the Best
